1PRIMARIA Experiments: Bouncing rubber egg. Laminar flow.

EXPERIMENT: BOUNCING RUBBER EGG

EXPERIMENT: LAMINAR FLOW

SCIENTIST: 脥ker Tantos L贸pez (1A)

Water appears to freeze, but it still moving!!馃挦

Materials:
A ballon
A container or a bowl
Tape
A pin

In laminar flow, the fluid doesn't have disruption or has minimal disruption, so that the water particles can flow evenly and gently out of the opening. When view from the right angles, this can make the water look as if it has frozen in the air, especially on camera.

1PRIMARIA: Exploring sound waves with salt

EXPERIMENT: EXPLORING SOUND WAVES WITH SALT

       SCIENTIST: 脥ker Tantos L贸pez (1A)

You can see sound!! 馃憖馃憘

The loud music produces noise which vibrates. This makes the air vibrate as well, producing waves.
When the waves hit the bowl, the bowl vibrates, making the salt jump about.

1PRIMARIA: Light Refraction experiment

EXPERIMENT: REFRACTION OF LIGHT IN WATER

SCIENTIST: 脥ker Tantos L贸pez (1A)

Is it science or magic?
Let´s take a look!!

When light passes from one material to another, it can bend or refract 馃槈

In the experiment, light traveled from the air, through the glass, through the water, through the back of the glass, and then back through the air, before hitting the arrow. Anytime that light passes from one medium, or material, into another, it refracts.
